2nd Saturday Workshop - Collage Sessions: Visual Rhythm & Blues

In this workshop, you will learn to use lines, texture, and color to create abstract collages. Learn color theory and collage & design principles while creating visual rhythms with paper. Materials provided, no RSVP required, and as always, free to the public! All ages and artistic talents are welcome. In partnership with ReCreative Spaces.

About the Instructor: Jamila Zahra Felton is an artist, educator, writer and librarian who creates as The Beat of Blossoms. Through bookbinding, collage, printmaking, and writing, Jamila explores memory, identity, love, power, and history. Born in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, MA, she graduated from Spelman College and holds an Ed.M. from Harvard University and an MLIS from The Catholic University of America.
