100 small works from the storybook world of illustrator Rebecca Solow

Magical landscapes, castles, creatures, and scenes abound in this beguiling art exhibition that explores a strange world conjured from the mind of illustrator Rebecca Solow.
The 100 works emerged through Solow’s participation in The 100 Day Project on Instagram. A loose narrative thread runs throughout, and viewers are transported into an ecosystem of heroes, villains, mythical creatures, perilous situations, and joyful moments.
The 100 works of art will be on display from September 21st – October 6th (by appointment only) with an opening reception on September 21st from 6PM-9PM.
Children and adults alike will love this show’s enchanting images.
About the Artist: Rebecca Solow’s art has been exhibited at the Joseloff Gallery, Hartford, CT, the Framers Gallery, London UK, the Workhouse Arts Center, Lorton, VA, and the Illuxcon Showcase, Reading, PA. Solow creates illustrations for the children’s and young adult markets. She has illustrated books and stories for Penguin Random House, Highlights Magazine, Cricket Media, and Cengage Learning. She has also traveled to Egypt with the Metropolitan Museum of Art to draw artifacts. Rebecca teaches classes in children’s book illustration at Montgomery College and the Workhouse Arts Center, and she lives and works in Mount Rainier, MD.
