Red Dirt Studio
3706-08 Otis Street
Mount Ranier, MD 20712

Red Dirt Studio is is a graduate school with no grades, a collective work environment, a critique group and a business-of-art incubator. It's an exhibition space, a site for visiting artist workshops, and informally, a craft center for neighborhood kids. At its core, Red Dirt is about what can happen with the coming-together of talented, smart and curious people, all engaged in pushing themselves and each other to greater accomplishment in their work.

Education Information

Red Dirt Studio hosts a sculpture and ceramics seminar for three terms per year, beginning May, September and January. Self-directed artists participate in the weekly seminar meetings and occupy individual studio spaces. Among the many offerings of the seminar are critiques, exposure for your work, and the opportunity to work among a charged, talented and creative group of folks.
