Biography: Andrea Chastant graduated from the University of Maryland with degrees in dance and Spanish. She has performed with a variety of local dance companies, most intensively with Seize the Day! mixed-abilities dance company and This body This Earth. After studying aerial dance for 3 years, she formed Arachne Aerial Arts in 2003 with dance partner, Sharon Witting. She has choreographed for This Body this Earth, Air Dance Bernasceni, Updraft, and for her own air endeavors. She is also certified in Pilates and owns two studios Pure Joe, in Washington, DC and Reston, Virginia.

Services offered: lessons for small groups, special events (weddings, private parties, etc). outdoor, theatre, sit specific performances/collaborations with musicians or art galleries.
