Focus: To reflect the unique moevement vocabulary and choreographic style inspired by African heritage.

Biogrpahy: Lesole Z. Maine founded the non-profit organization "Lesole'ss Dance Project" in 2003. The company creates and performs work that highlights the unique qualities of modern and Afro-Fusion style of dance and provide educational programs of movement and hisotry of popular South African dances such as Stomp South Africa, Gumboots, Indiamu, and Panstula.

Education Information

The Company outreach involves teaching classes, workshops, and public performances. Lesole's Dance Project has recently performed throughout hte Washington DC, Virginia, and Maryland Metropolitan area.
