Amy Callner, a printmaker by training, works in severai media and has worn many hats over the years, including environmental activist, rollerderby queen, community organizer, and parent. A Chicago native who's lived in the area for the past six years, she currently works on paper, metal, and canvas. Callner's art explores the pressure dynamic of human interaction with the world through figurative objectivity and painting, drawing, printing and illustrative techniques.
