The Hyattsville Community Development Corporation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization governed by a board comprised of residents and stakeholders and managed by staff that harness our community’s talents and potential to revitalize the City of Hyattsville and neighboring areas. Formed in the fall of 2000, we are business owners, professionals, tradesmen, artists, longtime and new residents: all acting to capitalize on Hyattsville’s existing social, cultural, and material assets to continue generating new resources and opportunities. Ensuring community vision is part of every development process: we work to reverse blight and indifference in our city and its surrounding communities.

Our mission is to develop arts and public spaces; spur economic development and the quality of community life; encourage widespread leadership for community revitalization; and to rebuild the City's commercial corridors
