The mission of the  Maryland Performing Arts Academy is to:

• ensure that all performing artists have a safe space to hone their craft and gain confidence in their abilities. Having access to instructors who have decades of teaching, directing, and performing experience allows students to continue to enhance their skills as they pursue their professional careers.
• demand excellence from all students encouraging them to demand excellence in themselves. 
• create opportunities for students to write, choreograph, direct, and produce their own works as well.
