Our Artists' Directory is an extensive directory featuring the work of artists who live, work, and regularly exhibit in the Gateway Arts District of Prince George's County. Artists that have studios within (or within one mile of) the Gateway Arts District may also list their regular studio hours, and by doing so will be listed on our mapping tool.
Artists of all media are invited to join. Artisans and artists who own businesses are also invited to add their businesses to our Business Locator (there's an option when joining the artists' directory).
What does the Artists' Directory do?
Our Artists' Directory, along with our Business Directory, Studio Locator, and Events Calendar, provide patrons the ability to find and get in touch with local resources as well as plan an itinerary including artists' contact information, hours and services. Formally relaunched in the summer of 2012, each artist is listed with a personal webpage, up to 5 custom images, an artist's statement and biography, as well as a geographic listing of artists' studios in the district.
